Kotha began with a single question: what would it feel like to sleep wrapped in the same muslin once exported from Mughal Bengal — fabric so fine it could pass through a ring?
We work with weaving cooperatives in Narayanganj and Tangail, supporting families who have practised the craft for generations.
Mulmul
Heritage muslin so light it dries in a breath. Cooled by the river air of Sonargaon.
Natural Dye
Marigold golds, madder rose, indigo nights — pigments steeped in copper vats.
Hand-finished
Mother-of-pearl buttons, contrast piping, and rolled hems stitched in Dhaka.
